Ancient Rome
Two Sons of William are sitting watching TV. There's an old film on about Ancient
Rome. At this point in the story the scene is set in the colosseum with assorted
Christians being fed to the lions.
First Bear: Here, Ah'm no watching this. It turns ma stomach, the idea of they
wild beasts eatin folk.
Second Bear: Turn it if ye like, but there's nothin else on. Incidentally, did
ye know that Christians were aw Catholics in they days?
First Bear: Is that right? Would ye look at that! Some a they stupit lions are
just sittin there instead o getting wired in!
