Not Mentally Prepared
A couple of years back, the Rangers keeper Andy Goram withdrew from a mid-week
international game on the grounds that he was not mentally prepared for it. In
no time, as is always the way, rumours soon spread that he was seeking psychiatric
help in that department. The next time he turned out for his club a section of
the opposition support began to chant: 'Two Andy Gorams . . . there's only two
